Boxing Coach

Handel's passion for boxing was sparked in 1998 while watching the heavyweight championship fight between Lennox Lewis and Shannon Briggs. Since then, he has immersed himself in the sport, studying and following boxing closely.

During college, Handel transferred to Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania, where he discovered the school’s boxing team. In 2007, he tried out for the Lock Haven University Bald Eagle boxing team and became the heavyweight representative. Over two years, he achieved remarkable success, qualifying twice for the NCBA National Heavyweight Title Tournament.

After graduating, Handel continued his boxing journey by joining a local boxing gym in New Jersey, where he competed for an additional two years. Today, he brings his extensive experience and dedication to coaching, helping students develop their skills and love for boxing.
